Who We Are

Page United Methodist Church is made up of three one-room country churches that took a leap of faith and decided to consolidate.  Under the guidance of the Rev. J. Blaine Blubaugh, Oak Hill, Rileyville, and Springfield Methodist Churches voted to consolidate and construct a new church building.  On May 5, 1970, Page UMC was consecrated!  Page UMC is proud to celebrate over 50 years In God's Service!

Looking ahead to the next 50 years, our vision is: Loving, Feeding, Praying, Serving.  We want to be a congregation where God's love is known and shared!  Come and join us!

Our address is: 1062 Springfield Rd.

Laura Stratton grew up in Luray and graduated from Luray High School in 2003.  She attended The College of William and Mary and graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Russian Studies.  After graduation, she lived in Pyatigorsk, Russia for a year, working with the local United Methodist Church, volunteering at two orphanages and boarding school for children with developmental disabilities, and studying at the local linguistic university.  In 2010, Laura finally recognized God’s call in her life to pastoral ministry, and she began the process to become an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church.  Laura graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2013, and at the 2016 Annual Conference, she was ordained as an elder in full connection. She feels very blessed to be back home in Page County and to serve God as the pastor of Page UMC.

Laura lives in the parsonage with her husband, J.R., and their two daughters.
